I recall a warm summer day without a care on my mind. I entered a filled auditorium and made my way to the front and found a seat. Settled in, I looked around to discover who else I might see. There were many people, most of whom I didn't know, but then my eyes settled upon the most handsome man in the room and his eyes were on me.
This was the beginning of a "Happily Ever After" story, but one that has had many twists and turns. For instance, after this brief encounter it took us five months to finally meet, but only three weeks after that before we knew we must be together always.
During this time of getting to know one another, I learned that Ron is very insightful. He understands things many people never take the time to bother with. He is a public servant who cares about the people who he serves. He does so with patience and endurance and often against tough odds. He has mounds of knowledge at his disposal, yet he is never boastful.
As is explained in his CD cover he left the piano as a young man and never went back to it until he began this CD. We bought the piano after our three children came and we bought our first home, it was time. I had no idea of his talent. He had played one song he had composed before we were married, it was nice, but I thought that was all. I have found that it will never be all. He began many new pieces and at first with most of them I thought, "This one won't amount to anything", but I was always wrong. I can't recall him abandoning any of his creations. As with all he does, he sticks to each new piece until completion and it is truly something to behold.
As Ron releases his first CD he continues to create new music, each piece being more than the last. His talent continues to grow as does his love for creating and sharing with those he cares for. His greatest ambition with his music is to touch the lives of those who hear it and to let all who will hear listen. If this music has touched you, please share it with others. Jody
